As a Senior OR Engineer you will:
  • Join a world-class team of Quantum and Quantum-Inspired experts with an extensive track record in both academia and industry.
  • Work with Fortune-500 customers from government and private sectors.
  • Collaborate with the founding team in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Contribute to designing and improving Multiverse’s optimization codebase.
  • Design and implement new Quantum and Quantum-Inspired optimization algorithms to solve cutting-edge problems across multiple industries.

Required Qualifications

  • Master or PhD, in Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Applied Physics or related field.
  • Senior: 5+years of industry experience in formulating, implementing and deploying optimization solutions.
  • Good theoretical understanding of mathematical optimization problems.
  • In-depth understanding and expertise of optimization algorithms for LP, MIP and/or QP

  • Knowledge of various methods such as branch-and-bound, metaheuristics and greedy algorithms.

  • Hands-on experience with commercial solvers (CPLEX, Gurobi, …) or open source solvers.

  • Advanced knowledge of Python and related scientific computing tools.
  • Ability to work with a diverse team of people, both in-person and through online resources.
  • Perfect command of English language, good command of Spanish language is a big plus.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of ML/AI concepts and models
  • Experience using git, unit testing, and docker.
  • Ability to write grant proposals.
  • Ability to write patent applications.
