IT Technician for support level 1 and 2

Alice & Bob are a deep tech company going through an R&D stage to build the first fault-tolerant Quantum Computer. We secured 30 million USD in funding to further develop our unique technology.

We are looking for an IT technician for support level 1 and 2 to build & structure our IT practice and insure a high level and reactive support to our employees in a fast-growing environment. You will be part of our Software team 4 people under the responsibility of the Lead Software Developer. Your role is to guarantee the availability of our equipment.

You will be the owner of the employees IT experience and will always care about lending Alice & Bob’s employees a hand when they encounter IT issues.

Responsibilities

• • Support and manage IT onboarding and offboarding of employees: prepare, install the workstations (through automation).
  • Provide local support to users on desktops and IT infrastructure. Answer questions from employees regarding applications and operating systems: Windows, MacOS, Linux.
  • Diagnose and intervene on IT software issues
  • Identify ways to improve, and automate IT processes and develop the needed tool-set to achieve this goal
  • Monitor the inventory of computer stations and peripherals
  • Hardware setup (computers, network hardware, servers…)

  • Fluent in English
