Quandela is a European start up that provides photonic quantum computers that are modular, scalable, energy-efficient and accessible both on the cloud and on premise. Our team specialises in the development of both software and hardware solutions for a variety of quantum applications. We offer a wide range of services, from developing the most efficient and brightest single photons sources, to creating algorithms for quantum computers and providing cloud quantum computing solutions. You will be a key contributor to our cloud infrastructure and deployment processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and manage cloud-based solutions while ensuring reliability, scalability, and security. Responsabilities

  • Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure cloud architectures.
  • Collaborate with development teams to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for cloud-based applications.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Monitor and manage cloud resources, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Implement and enforce security best practices for cloud environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure and application issues.
  • Optimize cloud costs while ensuring resources are used efficiently.
  • Stay current with cloud industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend improvements.

Requirements

The following skills need to be demonstrated :
  • Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, Bash).
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools (e.g., GitLab CI/CD).
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices and tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
  • A first experience with OpenStack will be appreciated
  • Knowledge of networking and security principles in cloud environments
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to work in an international team
You have also :
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • Proven experience as a Cloud DevOps Engineer or similar role
  • English communication skills; both verbal and written
