Senior DevInfra Engineer
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced DevInfra Engineer with a strong background in CI/CD, experience with language-specific toolchains, and hands-on experience with one of the main cloud providers (GCP, AWS, Azure).
What You’ll Do
In this role, you will play a crucial part in the smooth release of our products and services both on-premises and the cloud. Our product, AQtive Guard, traces cryptographic vulnerabilities across applications written in different languages and systems. You will have the challenging opportunity to ensure that builds and deployments work seamlessly.
- Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our CI/CD pipeline.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems.
- Deploy, support, and monitor new and existing services, platforms, and application stacks.
- Use scale testing to measure, tune, and optimize system performance.
- Build and run systems, infrastructure, and applications through automation.
- Participate in on-call duties.
About You
- Strong sense of ownership, customer service, and integrity proven through clear communication.
- Passion for eliminating repetitive manual processes and improving them through automation and repeated iteration.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with enterprise product releases.
- Experience with deploying and maintaining language-specific toolchains for developers on macOS & Linux. Languages we currently use: OCaml, Rust, Go, Java, Kotlin, Python, TypeScript/Browser & NodeJS.
- Proficiency with Bazel for building and testing across multiple languages and platforms.
- Strong experience with one of the main cloud providers (Google Cloud, AWS), with a focus on infrastructure management using Terraform.
- Proven knowledge and hands-on experience with container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes
- Demonstrated ability in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, as well as GitOps deployments using tools like ArgoCD or FluxCD.
- Strong skills in Bash and at least one other scripting language such as Python or Golang; knowledge of PowerShell is a plus.
- Familiarity with tools like Ansible, Puppet, and Packer is a plus.
- Experience working with bare metal environments on Linux and Windows. Understanding of the Linux Operating System, including Kernel, Memory, Processes, Threads, Static/Shared Libraries, IPC, and Signals.
- Understanding of standard networking protocols and components such as HTTP, DNS, ECMP, TCP/IP, ICMP, the OSI Model, Subnetting, and Load Balancing strategies.
- BS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent employment experience.
Nice-to-haves
- Nice to have experience with Redis, Kafka.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is expected to be $150k – $215k per year. Our salary ranges are determined by role and level. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This role may be eligible for annual discretionary bonuses and equity.
