Alice&Bob is developing the first universal, fault-tolerant quantum computer to solve the world’s hardest problems.
The quantum computer we envision building is based on a new kind of superconducting qubit: the Schrödinger cat qubit. In comparison to other superconducting platforms, cat qubits have the astonishing ability to implement quantum error correction autonomously!
We are at the forefront of the quantum race, competing with tech giants such as Google or IBM. We are growing fast, securing 30 million USD of funding in 2022 to develop our unique technology.

We are seeking a seasoned VP Technical Operations to lead and drive the strategic direction of our complex, multi-disciplinary projects. This role requires a deep understanding of system engineering principles, project management methodologies, and a proven track record of implementing and delivering innovative solutions in the deeptech or semiconductor industry.
n- Develop and execute the overarching orchestration strategy, aligning with the company’s long-term vision.
- Prioritize and articulate critical projects and risk management.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and operational excellence.
- Oversee the end-to-end programs’ lifecycle, from inception to delivery.
- Establish robust project management frameworks and methodologies.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential roadblocks, and plan corrective actions.
- Oversee program budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Implement and drive continuous improvement in system engineering processes and methodologies.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure technical feasibility and product quality.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including engineering, operations, sales, and marketing.
- Facilitate effective communication and coordination across diverse teams.
- Resolve conflicts and ensure alignment on project goals and objectives.
- Recruit, develop, and retain top talent in the field of system engineering and project management.
- Mentor and coach team members to foster professional growth and development.
- Create a positive and inclusive work environment.
- 15+ years of experience in the deeptech or semiconductor industry (software & hardware).
- Advanced degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- Proven track record of leading complex, multi-disciplinary projects/programs.
- Deep understanding of system engineering principles, project management methodologies, and industry best practices.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
