We are seeking an Internal Communications Director in our Broomfield, CO or Brooklyn Park, MN location.


Quantinuum believes that employees work better, more efficiently and more collaboratively in close proximity to other employees, where ideas can be exchanged readily, and decisions can be made more quickly for the benefit of the Company and our customers. All employees should work at their assigned location; however, this role may offer the opportunity to work remotely, with approvals. 

The Internal Communications Director leads the internal strategic communications direction, planning and execution in support of Quantinuum’s global organization. This leader will be the owner of driving culture, connection, and engagement through effective communications strategies. They are accountable for defining, executing, and coordinating effective communications programs across the globe through integrated communications planning, content development and use of multiple channels to facilitate two-way communications flows. These channels will include, but are not limited to, special events, executive messages & presentations, campaigns, town hall meetings, videos, digital publications, corporate programming, site network coordination, the intranet and internal social media tools. They are also responsible for building a team of highly effective communications professionals to drive Quantinuum to be world class amongst technical organizations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement integrated strategic communications plan. 
  • Identify challenges and emerging issues faced by the organization. Work with leaders to recognize internal communications opportunities and solutions, identify tactics and activities, and ensure successful execution. 
  • Oversee and create Quantinuum print and digital communications and platforms, including the internal websites, blogs and other mixed multi-media content.
  • Drive internal communications to increase awareness of Quantinuum initiatives and programs, engage employees and support an innovative, support organizational culture. 
  • Promote, build, and enhance Quantinuum’s global brand worldwide and increase visibility among key internal stakeholders 
  • Identify both short- and long-term capabilities needed to develop and drive internal communications strategy  
  • Partner with external communication and Marcom to drive Quantinuum’s strategic messaging and communications platforms to ensure alignment with business objectives and goals. 
  • Create crisis communications plans and competitive response statements to guide employees.  


YOU MUST HAVE:
  • Bachelor’s degree minimum
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience working in communications/marketing communications in a large technical organization 
  • Due to Contractual requirements, must be a U.S. person (defined as, U.S. citizen permanent resident or green card holder, workers granted asylum or refugee status)

  • Master’s degree in communications, Journalism, Marketing, or relevant field preferred
  • Demonstrated capability to present technical and complex information in a clear and compelling manner. Excellent writing and editorial skills as well as the ability to make clear, convincing presentations to senior management. 
  • Project management and ability to execute. 
  • Ability to communicate using a variety of media through an innovative mix of traditional and non-traditional communications to engage employees in company programs/initiatives. 
  • Experience planning meetings and events, including program management capabilities, and attention to details and logistics. 
  • Self-starter with ability to thrive in an ever-evolving organizational structure where priorities can shift quickly. 
  • Ability to lead across borders and cross-functional teams and achieve consistent, measurable results. 
  • Relationship building skills that enable the individual to influence thinking and outcomes through professional credibility. 
  • Ability to manage multiple programs/projects simultaneously. 
  • High energy and flexibility demonstrated leadership skills, and a positive leadership style.
