We, the BMW Group, offer you an interesting and varied working student occupation in the area of Quantum Computing Applications. The quantum computational chemistry team focuses on developing and applying quantum computing and quantum chemistry methods together for molecules, materials, and chemical processes.
What awaits you?
- In your new role you will work as a working student (f/m/x) in quantum computational chemistry.
- You will develop and apply advanced algorithms in quantum chemistry and quantum computing to model the physical and chemical phenomenon.
- Furthermore, you will actively participate in technical discussions with our experts in quantum computing and battery simulation.
What should you bring along?
- Background in Theoretical Chemistry, Quantum Computing, Computational Physics.
- Knowledge of Quantum chemistry and Quantum computing algorithms.
- Good programming skills in Python. Some other programming language experience is a plus.
- Experience with open-source quantum chemistry code such as PySCF.
- Knowledge of electro-chemistry and material science are plus.
- Business-fluent English.
