As a Senior DevOps Engineer / Tech Lead, you will

  • Oversee and lead the DevOps practices and processes within the organization.
  • Develop and implement DevOps strategies for the organization.
  • Mentor and lead a team of DevOps engineers to deliver solutions.
  • Work with development and operations teams to automate software delivery processes.
  • Identify and implement tools and processes to improve software development and delivery.
  • Actively seek solutions to customer needs, communicate trends to leadership, and suggest innovative solutions on behalf of the customer experience.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of implemented solutions, making recommendations for enhancements or modifications as needed.
  • Help deploy our software stack to Fortune 500 clients’ servers.
  • Participate in the design of Multiverse’s toolbox interface.
  • Join a world-class team of Quantum experts with an extensive track record in both academia and industry.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; alternatively, significant work experience as a Software Engineer.
  • 8+ years of experience working as DevOps Engineer with expert-level skills in AWS. Candidates with AWS certifications will be prioritized.
  • Proven experience as Cloud Solutions Architect.
  • Experience mentoring and leading teams of DevOps engineers
  • Solid understanding and knowledge of DevOps practices. Hands-on experience required in development, deployment and production environments.
  • Extensive experience in large-scale, secure, and high availability solutions in the AWS cloud, using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) to support deployment, scaling, monitoring, and configuration management.
  • Experience designing & building solutions within the AWS ecosystem. Strong competence in AWS EC2, EKS, Fargate, Lambda, CloudFront, S3, and other supporting services.
  • High competence with AWS Well Architected Framework
  • Experience building CI/CD pipelines (i.e. GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar)
  • Advanced level of expertise in deploying, monitoring, and maintaining Kubernetes clusters as well as experience deploying applications to Kubernetes (EKS) using Helm charts. Candidates with CKA and/or CKAD certifications will be prioritized. Experience with Rancher or similar K8s management tools is desirable.
  • Competency with service meshes, preferably Istio Gateway
  • Experience deploying SaaS solutions.
  • Proficiency with one or more programming languages (Bash, Python, Go, etc).
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and identify the root cause of infrastructure and security issues.
  • Superb communication skills in English and a passion for working collaboratively.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with microservice deployment and monitoring.
  • Experience working with different public cloud providers (GCP, MS Azure) and hybrid or on-premises environments.
  • Database experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL
  • DevSecOps expertise with proven experience with SAST, DAST, SIEM, SSO, penetration testing, implementing cybersecurity controls and promoting security best practices
  • Experience designing and deploying Infrastructure to support machine learning and data analytics solutions, to support our MLOps practice
  • Experience creating and administering release management processes and integration with source control management and best practices.
