As the Industry Accounts Lead, you’ll spearhead the execution of our sales strategy, mapping the course for selling our cutting-edge products and services on a global scale to Industry accounts, quantum OEM and cloud solution provider customers . By championing a culture of collaboration, accountability, and customer-centricity you will drive profitability supported by an ambitious global sales strategy.

We’re seeking an experienced account executive sales leader to achieve our ambitious goal to become #1 preferred control stack provider for industrial accounts to drive sales in & integration with High-Performance Computing (HPC) and Quantum computing.

Role description and responsibilities 

As the Industry Accounts Lead, you’ll embody our commitment to be a #1 control stack partner for our customers worldwide, with the focus on enterprise strategic quantum OEM and cloud accounts. 

  • Identify and capitalize on strategic growth opportunities, driving commercial strategy with our enterprise  industry accounts. Develop and execute strategic account plans to increase market penetration of our qubit control solutions.

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders, senior decision-makers within target accounts, understanding their business needs and ensuring their satisfaction with our solutions. 

  • Influence customer quantum computing roadmap plans to secure design-wins and volume production commitments for Qblox control stack solutions in close collaboration with our Head of Partnerships, Head of Product & Roadmap leadership

  • Engage other quantum computing hardware and software vendors as needed to align product plans to ensure complementary solutions for the benefit of mutual customers in close collaboration with the Head of Partnerships.

  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and advancements in HPC and quantum computing, leveraging this knowledge to inform sales strategies and product development.

  • Represent Qblox at industry events, conferences, and trade shows, to showcase our innovation and solidify our position as a market leader in qubit control equipment.

  • Collaborate with technical & roadmap teams to ensure seamless integration of our technology into clients’ existing HPC and quantum computing environments.

  • Meet and exceed sales targets, driving significant revenue growth by securing major accounts and expanding our footprint in the industrial sector.

  • Work closely with marketing, product development, application scientists, sales engineering & customer success teams to align efforts and deliver exceptional value to our customers.

Your profile

Experience, Knowledge & Skills

Education: A Master’s degree in a technical science; additionally an MBA or equivalent work experience is beneficial. A Bachelor’s degree with exceptional experience will also be considered.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of account management selling components and solutions to enterprise computing OEM and cloud service provider accounts within high-tech sector, with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.

  • Strong understanding of HPC / quantum computing,  including the products and plans of leading OEM and cloud quantum computing solution providers, with the ability to effectively communicate the value of Qblox solutions to executive decision-makers in industrial clients.

  • Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts, with experience influencing customer roadmap decisions, and facilitating technology integration for clients.

  • Experience in supporting OEM and cloud customers downstream in the industry value-chain, helping them secure solution wins with end-users across different vertical sectors.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.

  • Proven expertise in strategic selling and negotiation techniques.

  • Strong executive influencing, communication, and presentation skills.

  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills, facilitating collaboration and communication.

  • Optional but beneficial certifications include Certified Sales Leadership Professional (CSLP), Miller Heiman Group Strategic Selling Certification, Strategic Account Management Association (SAMA) Certification, Certified Inside Sales Professional (CISP)

  • Leadership and people management experience would be advantageous as we scale the business over time.

  • Multilingual proficiency is advantageous.
