We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Health Safety and Environment Intern in our Broomfield, CO location. This role will provide hands-on experience in EHS compliance, risk management, and sustainability practices. The intern will support the existing team in maintaining a safe, compliant, and environmentally responsible workplace while gaining valuable knowledge of workplace safety regulations, environmental health policies, and industry standards.
n- Support the development and maintenance of safety programs, policies, and procedures. Help manage and update safety documentation, including safety data sheets (SDS), risk assessments, and training records.
- Assist in conducting EHS audits, inspections, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Assist with incident investigations and EHS recordkeeping
- Monitor and analyze EHS data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and report findings to the EHS team.
- Actively pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree
- Graduating after December 2024
- Due to Contractual requirements, must be a U.S. person (defined as, U.S. citizen permanent resident or green card holder, workers granted asylum or refugee status)
- Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in environmental science, Occupational Safety and Health, Industrial Hygiene, Risk management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
- Basic knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant EHS regulations.
- Strong communication, and collaboration abilities
- Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks with a proactive attitude.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Previous internship or work experience in an EHS-related field is a plus but not required
